Sales Operations Subscription Specialist

The Sales Operations Subscription Specialist position is a part of Aspire Technology Partners customer-focused Sales Operations team. The Sales Operations Subscription Specialist handles all sales operations processes relating to Cisco Systems cloud subscriptions and enterprise licensing agreements.  The position works with various web-based tools to obtain competitive quotes, book orders and resolve customer-related issues. The individual is responsible for maintaining a high level of professional communications with all levels of management relating to cloud subscriptions.


  • Act as subject matter expert on sales operations processes as they relate to Cisco Systems cloud subscriptions and enterprise agreements, i.e., quoting, ordering, change modifications, true-forwards, renewals, etc.  Attend webinars on any process changes and program updates by distributors/manufacturers.  Maintain regular communications with various subscription-related roles within Cisco and distribution and escalate issues when needed.
  • Create new deal registrations and special pricing requests via Vendor online tools and ensure approvals. Cross-check vendor quotes versus Aspire quotes and update Aspire costs and customer pricing.
  • Create quotes for cloud subscriptions and enterprise agreements in response to customer requests and ensure correct pricing and part numbers/configurations.  Assist Aspire Account Manager (AM) in answering any related quote questions and prepare revisions as needed.
  • Cross check all pricing and process orders via vendors/distribution. Validate all vendor order confirmations and answer any vendor questions related to the order.  Ensure all required end-user agreements are executed prior to order placement.
  • Audit completed orders by validating contracts and term dates in various web-based portals and recording in the internal ERP system.  Manage cases with vendors on any discrepancies or errors.  Assist finance team with reconciling any billing issues related to cloud subscriptions.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in technical/sales support environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, or similar tools

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of NetSuite ERP
  • Prior experience in IT a plus
  • Knowledge of Cisco products/processes a plus
