Manager of Staffing
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated Manager of Staffing to lead our staffing practice and oversee all aspects of our staffing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing staffing strategies that align with our business goals and objectives. The Manager of Staffing will work closely with our clients to understand their staffing needs and will lead a team to identify, attract, and place top talent. This position will be based in New Jersey/New York, however much of the time for this position is spent meeting with customers at their locations (or remote) and otherwise normally working remote with occasional visits to the office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
- Develop and implement staffing strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.
- Work with the team to source, recruit, and place qualified candidates with our clients.
- Partner with clients to understand their staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies to meet those needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure excellent service and repeat business.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure and improve the effectiveness of staffing operations.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure a competitive advantage in the staffing industry.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, professional organizations, and other sources of talent.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the staffing team to ensure their ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure effective communication and coordination of staffing efforts.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews with candidates and evaluate their skills and experience.
- Manage the recruiting process from start to finish, including negotiating job offers and onboarding new hires.
- Leverage software to track and maintain candidate database
- Work with third party providers to ensure staffing candidates are fully onboarded.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations with regard to hiring practices, compliance with EEO
- Recruit with the ability to match cultural and environmental fit, in addition to technical skills and experience
- Develop, implement and manage full-cycle recruitment processes
- Establish departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
- Develop innovative hiring methodologies through identifying unique and non-traditional sources for finding candidates
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in staffing or recruitment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of staffing tools and methods, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in staffing or recruitment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Ambitious and goal oriented, with initiative to work until job is complete
- Solid documentation experience with Microsoft® Visio, Word, and Excel, etc.
TRAVEL: 25-40% local travel
