Job Responsibilities

  • Prospect for net new Managed Detection & Response (MDR) customers through a high volume of customer touchpoints to effectively create opportunities in your assigned region
  • Tenaciously prospect, qualify and capture leads and opportunities via phone, email, Internet, and social media
  • Participate in marketing campaigns and creatively follow up on inbound leads to further peak prospect interest
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with senior sales executives to drive selling activities including scheduling meetings with prospects, sales presentations, and proposal development in the pursuit of closing managed services opportunities and generate recurring revenue
  • Drive attendance to webinars and other customer events to identify prospects and qualified leads
  • Maintain velocity outbound communications to drive activity, prospective customer engagement, develop an opportunity pipeline and most importantly generate revenue

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent
  • 1+ years of professional experience, preferably in sales, lead generation, outbound calling or equivalent
  • Self-motivated and driven for outstanding results with focus on quality and the customer
  • Demonstrate success in a telephone driven sales environment
  • Confidently source your own leads and prospect them using outbound techniques
  • Strong written, verbal, and social media communication skills
  • Dedication to continuous sales development, achievement, and driving career forward
  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure, as well as be highly responsive to clients
  • Ability to learn, absorb and adapt quickly to ever-changing business priorities

Preferred Skills:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience at a software or technology company a plus
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with a CRM or content management tracking system
  • Ability to research, utilize and leverage social media and internet to qualify leads, drive opportunity and revenue
