Digital Architectures Associate Solutions Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Architectures Associate Solutions Engineer, is a member of the presales engineering team, is responsible for educating clients and translating Client requirements into clearly defined and defendable network architectures and service delivery strategies, to be used by the Aspire Delivery Teams to address Client outcomes. The candidate will also assist the Senior Solutions Architects on complex projects and provide assistance with documentation and presales opportunity deliverables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
- Responsible to engage with customers and develop simple solutions that affect meaningful business outcomes
- Work in concert with senior presales engineers to create documentation defining robust, complex solutions
- Work with Sales Team to develop client relationships and solutions that meet the required business outcomes
- Create and deliver compelling customer-facing presentations
- Perform walkthroughs of client facilities to document current state to be used to develop solutions
- Create Bill of Materials, Statements of Work, High-level design diagrams, build Professional Services Estimates for solutions.
- Continually train in the latest and upcoming technologies, products, services, and industry trends
- Provide demos to customers on the latest technologies, products, and services
- Become fluent in Aspire’s managed services offerings and drive growth within existing and new client
- Interact with the post-sales team and Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure alignment between presales and post-sales activities and ensure quality client outcomes.
- Manage production of project deliverables, budget, and presentations to client personnel and leadership
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an Information Technology related major, or 1 to 3 years of experience focused in technology–based consulting
• Background in engineering of Networking Technologies
• Basic working knowledge of Cisco and other network infrastructure products, such as:
o Cisco Routing and Switching Devices
o Cisco Wireless Infrastructure and Technologies
o Cisco Security Solutions
o Meraki Networking Infrastructure Components
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in an Information Technology related major
• CCNA, Network+, or similar certification
• 3-5 years of experience working with Cisco and other network infrastructure products, such as:
o Cisco Routing and Switching Devices
o Cisco Wireless Infrastructure and Technologies
o Cisco Network Management Platforms such as DNA-Center
o Cisco Security Solutions
o Meraki Networking Infrastructure Components
