Continuous Improvement Project Manager

Location: Eatontown, NJ


The Continuous Improvement Project Manager will support the management teams and individual contributors in each department impacted by corporate improvement initiatives. This CI Project Manager must have outstanding interpersonal skills demonstrated in the ability to successfully manage internal projects. The CI Project Manager is responsible for providing and driving key deliverables to ensure adoption and sustainment of change – clear communication throughout the process and effective documentation at the conclusion of each improvement project is essential for success. As the project manager, the individual will develop custom project plans in consultation with internal teams and manage all project-related communication, task tracking, resource management (inclusive of project time & expense approvals), on-time completion, change management and customer satisfaction.


  • Provide leadership to define, lead, develop and drive projects from concept to execution.
  • Lead strategic initiatives across the organization that drive margin growth and process improvements.
  • Provide leadership to support the launch of new products, drive the implementation of new technologies, and/or certifications.
  • Lead cross-functional operations improvement projects to help the business build and grow a more efficient operation.
  • Provide leadership to process teams in identifying, verifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements and re-engineering opportunities.
  • Facilitate the design and implementation of business process models.
  • Drive improvement projects identifying operational inefficiencies, root causes and to deliver a solution plan.
  • Implement viable solutions working with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed to promote process efficiency, remove redundancy and introduce automation.
  • Manage day-to-day internal resource interactions and project expectations to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Manage communications with internal teams to analyze project results and performance and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage external  resources, such as vendor, partners, and subcontractors to deliver effective solutions
  • Ability to resolve conflict, negotiate and manage relationships to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to create awareness and adoption of process changes, delivering training as needed.
  • Communicate and escalate project issues and risks as appropriate to ensure transparency, proactive mitigation, and timely resolution.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of equivalent professional experience required
  • Agile, PMP, ITIL Certifications, Lean Six Sigma or formal training in project management (preferably from a designated PMI Registered Education Provider)
  • Proficient with MS Office, Project, SharePoint, Visio, SmartSheet

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Strong IT Infrastructure deployment experience in a Professional Services organization of either a Manufacturer, or Value-Added Reseller.
  • PMP Certification strongly preferred
